So you are going to pull but not breed him? If I got that right. Should be something fun for him to do. You won't breed undershot then.

no i dont breed undershot dogs, it is a big fault, and in the ring it is a disadvantage, it lessens jaw strength.

I was just making sure I read it right that you are going to start weight pull with him but not use him in your breeding program. "it lessens jaw strength" but it doesn't lessen gameness. You are right that it is a fault, that is why my friend was so pissed when he got a dog just to show it and it had an undershot jaw You can imagine that!

For what it's worth (don't know about the ADBA), according to Eddie Falin (UKC judge) an undershot bite is only 5 points in the UKC shows. Not saying you neccesarily want to breed him, but you could still try your hand at showing him.

Pretty much the same thing, its a fault with ADBA but from what I see APBR doesn't have a standard? All dogs have faults, some minor some major. This female had a bad undershot, very noticable. kinked tail is just a few points, but a guy bred his pregnant dog and got some kinked tailed pups and will never breed that female ever again. So its just personal prefference, I'd breed her again and to a differently bred dog, see what happens. That was her only litter.
