I don't know how many silly things I've heard about red nose APBTs.
I heard that red nose APBTs are the "rare". They are no where near rare, they are pretty popular, just as popular as black nose. its recessive so breeding two red nose together gives you a litter of red nose so its not really rare when you can get a whole litter of them.
Red nose is a "special" nose color and a distinct pit bull breed. There is only one breed of American Pit Bull Terrier and its the same breed as the black, blue, butterfly and dudly nose APBT. Its not its own special breed, its not better or worse because of nose color.
All red nose dogs are currs. gameness has no correlation with coat or nose color. Bailey's Bingo one dog I consider deeply game had a red nose as well as many other dogs from the red boy line and hemphill and wallace dogs.
I've also heard the opposite, red nose dogs are the best and unbeatable. Although there are many good and game dogs that had red noses and game red nose lines of APBTs, having a red nose doesn't mean the dog is better than a black nose, won't mean the dog is gamer, or that it can't loose to a black nose dog. There have been lots of black nose dogs winning over red nose dogs and vise versa. Color has nothing to do with it.
